Knives and Stonesは、美しい東北地方の青森県に拠点を置くブティックナイフメーカー、二唐刃物鍛造所をご紹介できることを誇りに思います。350年以上にわたる刃物作りの歴史と、その僻地という立地条件から、二唐刃物鍛造所は驚くほどユニークな鍛造技術とデザインを生み出してきました。
彼らのダマスカスパターンは、日本のメーカーの中でも最も洗練された模様の一つであり、「暗紋」と呼ばれています。これは「暗い模様」を意味します。
今後徐々に在庫を増やしていく予定で、ポッドキャストでも詳しくご紹介するつもりですが、それまでの間も、また一人の刃物職人がK&Sファミリーに加わることを心から嬉しく思います。&Sファミリーに！
