加藤弘氏の息子である吉美氏は、現在タケフナイフビレッジの老舗ブランド「金太郎」の主力鍛冶としてその技術を受け継いでいます。黒﨑氏との共同作業も多く、両者の包丁はジオメトリや研ぎの仕上がりが非常に似ています。また、虎鉄、兼広、昌景など、他ブランドの多くの包丁の製作も手がけています。
