Naniwa Gouken

The Naniwa Gouken is a new generation of stones from arguably the most reputable sharpening stone manufacturer in Japan. It is comprised of two sub-lines, the Arata and Kagayaki. Arata is a slim version of the famous Chosera line, yet it is thinner and easier to ship, I consider is a better alternative to the Shapton Kuromaku. The Kagaykai is evolved from the popular Super Stone line and with 10mm thickness, it Kagayaki is very budget friendly, super easy to carry around which I consider is a much better alternative to the Shapton Glass (which while is 10mm thick, only has 5mm abrasive layer).
