Knives and Stones Exchange, Returns & Refund Policy

At Knives and Stones, we take great care in offering only the finest handmade Japanese knives and accessories. Every item is inspected before dispatch. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please read the following policy carefully.

NOTE: K&S Coupons will however NOT be able to refunded unless the product is faulty. While K&S does not charge any restock fees, the coupon is strictly one-off only. 

1. Returns & Exchanges

• We accept returns or exchanges within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in sellable condition.
• Products with custom variations (e.g. unique handles, engravings, custom profiles) are non-refundable.
• K&S Rewards (KNSR***) coupons are not refundable. 
• Returned items are subject to a 3% handling fee.
• Customers are responsible for arranging safe return shipping unless the product is faulty or damaged.

2. Faulty or Damaged Items

• If your product arrives damaged or defective, we accept full responsibility and will provide a return label or replacement at no cost.
• Due to the nature of handmade knives, small imperfections, variations in wood grain, or differences in damascus patterns are normal and not considered defects.
• Packaging may differ from other vendors; this is not grounds for a return.

3. Refunds

• Refunds are processed once the returned product has been received and inspected.
• If you request a refund before dispatch, we are happy to oblige. Please note:
• Payment processing times are controlled by your financial institution.
• Even if we cancel and refund your order immediately, it may take up to 2 weeks for funds to reappear in your account.
• We appreciate your understanding of this process.
• K&S Coupons will however NOT be able to refunded. It is one-off only. 

4. International Customers

• For international orders, customs duties, taxes, and fees are non-refundable.
• Return shipping costs remain the customer’s responsibility unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
