K&S Hardwood Saya for Shibata Koutetsu
The K&S Hardwood Saya for Shibata Koutetsu is a custom-made wooden blade cover designed to complement the unique, precise and modern profile of the Shibata Koutetsu series.
Crafted from a combination of Wenge and Teak timber, this saya offers a refined balance of durability, practicality and visual contrast. The light-coloured Teak brings warmth and natural character, while the dark African Wenge adds depth and elegance. Once fully oxidised, Wenge develops into an almost black tone, pairing beautifully with darker handles such as ebony or dyed timber handles.
Please note that natural timber varies in colour, grain and texture. Each saya will have its own unique appearance.
Suitable for Shibata Koutetsu models.
*Each saya is supplied with a saya pin secure the blade.
If the saya is purchased alone without a knife, the pin hole is intentionally left undrilled , allowing the final position to be set according to the individual knife.
To install, fit your knife into the saya, locate the correct pin position, and carefully drill the pin hole.
