The K&S Heart-Shaped Handle in Desert Ironwood with Blonde or Marble Buffalo Horn Ferrule pairs a rare desert wood with a distinctive WA profile.

Desert ironwood is among the densest and most stable hardwoods. It is naturally oily and durable, needs no stabilization, and resists cracking even in humid kitchens. Each piece shows golden-brown and black streaks that shift in the light.

The heart-shaped WA profile is fully rounded underneath to settle into the hand, while the top keeps the crisp facets of an octagonal handle for grip and blade control. The horn ferrule varies subtly in tone and pattern from piece to piece.
