K&S Limited Sample Handles

Over the years, K&S handles have become widely recognised for their excellent quality, clean finishing, reliable fit, and exceptional value. While fully custom one-off handles are not something we can offer, we have never stopped exploring new handle designs.

We respect traditional Japanese handle design, but we also enjoy bringing in modern materials, fresh colour combinations, and new visual styles. Along the way, we have made many samples. Some of them became regular production handles loved by our customers, while others remained as small-batch samples and were never mass produced.

For these limited sample handles, we would like to offer them back to our beloved customers as a special opportunity. Quantities are very limited, and once they are gone, they may not be made again.

Please Note Before Purchasing

Orders over $300 are eligible for ONE free handle. Simply add the handle to your cart and the price will be automatically updated at checkout. Purchasing the handle separately is also welcome.
Please note: the handle discount is limited to ONE handle per order.
These handles are suitable for wa-style blades only, designed for tang insertion.
Please double check the handle size before purchasing. The recommended blade size is listed in the product title to help you choose the correct fit.
Product images reflect the handle design only. Variations may exist due to the natural tone, grain, and character of the wood.
Each handle will be supplied with a small bag of hot glue beads, which can be used to secure the knife tang during installation. A separate installation kit is also available for purchase.
Please read and watch the installation demo carefully before attempting to install the handle.
Our rehandling service is available if you prefer us to install the handle for you, although we also encourage customers to try DIY rehandling, as it can be a fun and rewarding part of owning and maintaining a Japanese knife.
