Who was Hirotsugu Tosa (土佐廣次)?

Hirotsugu Tosa (土佐廣次) was a knife sharpener (研ぎ師) based in Sakai, Osaka. He was recognised as a certified traditional craftsman (伝統工芸士) in the Sakai forged-blade craft (堺打刃物). He passed away in 2025.
