Why does Knives and Stones profile a retired sharpener?

Oda is on this site as one of the hands the Sakai system was built on, not as a maker whose work we still carry. We hold photographs of him, and we know which man in them is Oda. Oda-finished work has lapsed from what we carry, so this is a heritage profile of a retired legacy figure rather than a page for active stock.
